Ministry of Science’s Universities Degrees

According to Iranian Higher Educational system all the students that wants to attend at Associate Level degree  must has 11 years Technical and Vocational diploma or 12 years standard diploma. this educational system will take 2 to 3 years.

According to Iranian Higher Education Degree Continuous Undergraduate will take 4 to 5 years and all the students that wants to attend at this level needs 12 year standard diploma and they must have a minimum 12.5/20 GPA to  enter the bachelor’s degree in humanities, agriculture and art and 14/20 GPA To enter the fields of basic sciences, architecture, engineering and medicine at the undergraduate level

 Discontinuous Undergraduate (Discontinuous Bachelor) 

According to Iranian Higher Education Degree Discontinuous Undergraduate will take 2 to 3 years and all the students that wants to attend at this level must obtained 2 years Associate’s Degree and they must have a minimum 12.5/20 GPA to  enter the Discontinuous bachelor’s degree in humanities, agriculture and art and 14/20 GPA To enter the fields of basic sciences, architecture, engineering and medicine at the Discontinuous undergraduate level

Master Degree

Have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 15 in the fields of humanities, arts and agriculture and a grade point average of 14 in other fields to enter the master’s degree program and obtain admission from one of the universities

Note: The applicant for admission to the master’s degree program must submit the admission agreement from the supervisor, which has been approved by the Vice Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of the said campus / college / independent center, to the Admissions Office for non-Iranian students.

PHD

Have a master’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 16 to enter specialized doctoral courses in a field appropriate to the field of study of the master’s degree and obtain admission from one of the universities

Note 1: The applicant for admission to the doctoral program must submit the admission agreement from the supervisor (at least associate professor) who has been approved by the Vice Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of the said campus / faculty / independent center to the admission office of non-Iranian students.

Note 2: Non-Iranian doctoral students are not considered in the quota for the number of supervisors’ dissertations.
